SMS Roaming

The service allows you to stay in touch via SMS when traveling abroad. If the services “SMS roaming” and “Mobile Internet” are connected, Internet access is provided automatically, while incoming and outgoing traffic of the mobile Internet is paid for according to roaming tariffs.

When the “SMS roaming” and MMS services are connected, sending and receiving MMS is automatically available to subscribers, incoming and outgoing traffic of the mobile Internet when receiving / sending MMS is paid for according to roaming tariffs.

After receiving confirmation, voice communication (incoming and outgoing calls) will be disabled and a one-time fee will be debited from the balance in accordance with the current tariff plan. For correct registration in the network, you need to reboot the phone in the territory of another country.
The traffic included in the subscription fee is not consumed in roaming. There is no SMS exchange with operators that are not the company’s roaming partners. When the service is activated, all types of call forwarding are deleted. After disabling the SMS roaming service, you need to re-assign the subscriber forwarding. When you call a subscriber who has connected the SMS roaming service, an answering machine will be triggered: “Sorry, the subscriber has disabled the voice service. Try sending SMS”.
The service is provided to all corporate clients (except for subscribers of tariff plans of the WEB, Non-stop, Telemetry lines).

The service can be connected/disabled in one of the following ways:

  • In the My A1 application;
  • Via SMS.

To connect, you need to send two SMS:
1. with the text “ROAM” to number 411 (in response you will receive an SMS for confirmation);
2. with the text “DA” to number 411.
To disable, you need to send one SMS with the text “NO ROAM” to number 411.

  • Personal account;
  • On the basis of a standard application sent through the А1 Belarus community in Viber or to the e-mail address legal@A1.by;
  • On the basis of a standard application in A1 branded sales and service centers upon presentation of an identity document, as well as:

- when the head applies: a document confirming the powers of the head;

- when a proxy applies: a power of attorney for representing the interests of a legal entity.
