Alice in Wonderland: VOKA releases Tim Burton’s fairytale film dubbed in Belarusian

VOKA VOD released official Belarusian dubbing for one more Disney film Alice in Wonderland. A sequel of the popular Lewis Carrol’s fairytale directed by Tim Burton takes 43th place among the best blockbusters ever.

This film was released in 2010 as a free sequel of the similarly-named cartoon of 1951 and reinterpretation of two Carol’s books Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There. The script was written by Linda Woolverton famous for her Disney works in The Beauty and The Beast and The Lion King. The author created a unique story where 19-year-old Alice does no longer remember her travels in Wonderland. After her father passed away in his own garden, she again meets White Rabbit who takes her back to the fairyland where she learns that she is the one to win against Jabberwock, a dragon of the Red queen.

The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway. In 2011 Tim Carter’s fairytale film won two Oscars for the best decorations and best costume. That was also when fashion house Viva Vox released a cimenatized fashion line.

A new official dubbing is created by Kinakong studio especially for VOKA VOD. The film is available on VOKA for all-inclusive subscription in the section Films in Belarusian together with other redubbed foreign films. Besides animated and narrative films CINEVOKA section Series in Belarusian offers Belarusian dubbing of the series too.
