Vienna Ball with A1 at the Kupala Theatre Takes Place in a New Format

The Vienna Ball with A1 at the Kupala Theatre scheduled for December 14, 2019 at the Janka Kupala National Theatre will take place in a new format. The organizers accepted the invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus to the address of the ball organizing committee to join the Vienna Ball at the Independence Palace on December 27, 2019.

"We are aware that with the change in the format of our event, the responsibility that rests upon everyone participating in its preparation and conduct is increasing significantly. The status of a partner of the main ball in the country is certainly an honorable mission for A1. And at the same time, we are very grateful to everyone who wanted to become a part of the first Vienna Ball with A1 at the Kupala Theatre: everyone who passed a strict selection for debutants, purchased tickets, found time for additional dance classes and just looked forward to this event. Therefore, we consider it our duty to find and offer an acceptable alternative solution for each of them", says Anton Bladik, A1 Deputy General Director for Digital Platforms and Content.

Everyone who was not able to attend the Vienna Ball at the Kupala Theatre due to the change in its format are required to return the tickets purchased, because they do not give the right to attend the ball at the Independence Palace.

When returning the tickets, their cost will be refunded in the amount of 100 %. In addition, each holder of the ticket to the Vienna Ball with A1 at the Kupala Theatre will receive in return an invitation for two persons to the exclusive premiere of King Lear, a new play at the Janka Kupala National Theatre. The invitation will be given when returning the tickets (refunds will be made at the theatre box office at 7a Engels Street from December 4 to 20), and the exclusive play itself will take place on February 18, 2020.

The fixed condition for holding the Vienna Ball at the Independence Palace will be the participation of debutants who have passed the corresponding selection and participated in rehearsals. All of them collectively will be given the opportunity to perform before the ball guests on December 27. Besides, debutants and their parents will also receive invitations to the exclusive King Lear play.

The charity part of the event will remain in force as an integral part of traditional Vienna balls. A1 will make a commitment and send an amount equal to 50 % of the cost of the tickets available for sale to attend the Vienna Ball with A1 at the Kupala Theatre to the address of the SOS Children's Villages Belarus public association.
