A1 joined a fundraising campaign Let’s Get Kids Ready for School!

А1 joined a fundraising campaign of The Belarus Red Cross Let’s Get Kids Ready for School! For a new school year there were stationary materials and tablets purchased and handed over to social education centre and orphanage of Central District in Minsk and orphange for handicapped children with special needs.

Let’s Get Kids Ready for School! is a national fundraising annual campaign organized by the Belarus Red Cross on the eve of a new school year in order to help the children from large and lone-parent families, refugee or forced migrant families, children with disabilities get ready for the Knowledge Day.

“Today it is quite uneasy for any family to get a child ready for school. And in our country there are families for whom it is particularly difficult. That is why on the eve of the 1st September the Red Cross for years helps them to search and purchase all materials necessary for a new school year. We thank A1 for all the support and financial aid. Owing to our joint efforts the kids will have everything necessary to get a quality education”, , – commented Elena Shtanyuk, chairman of central rayon office of the Belarus Red Cross in Minsk.

Within the framework of the activity for social education centre and orphanage of Central District in Minsk there were stationary materials purchased for the children residing in the centre and attending extracurricular activites.

Magnetic boards and educational tablets will be handed over to children orphanage for children with disabilities and special needs. They are designed for children of different age groups since they help to learn the alphabet and group the words, memorize the numbers and learn to count, distinguish colors and sounds. Large size of the signs, letters and numbers that come with these supplies help to draw children attention and ease the process of memorizing which is particulalrly important for the students of such institutions.

Within the framework of the fundraising campaign Let’s Get Children Ready for School! There are presents prepared for children with disabilities, at social risks, multi-children families.
