The biggest number of new stations was launched on the 1800MHz frequency band, totaling 101 stations across Brest, Gomel, Minsk, and Mogilev Regions. The expanded network mostly covers villages, agro towns, small towns, and other settlements. Gomel Region and Mogilev Region got the biggest number of new 4G stations.

Another 68 base stations operating on the 2600MHz frequency band were launched across 14 districts of Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, and Minsk Regions. The improvements mostly covered densely populated cities and towns, which demonstrated an acute need for increased network throughput.

And finally, A1 launched 19 new stations operating on the 800MHz band across 14 districts of Grodno, Mogilev, and Minsk Regions. What makes this frequency band stand out is that it ensures a long signal radius.

4G (LTE) is currently the most advanced mobile service standard in Belarus. As a result of combined efforts by А1 and beСloud, an infrastructure operator, 99.8% of people living in Belarus now have access to the fourth-generation mobile technology. 4G is now available to A1 customers living not only in big cities, but also in low-populated settlements, villages, and along traffic routes.
