4G internet for A1 subscribers in Minsk will become faster

The data transfer speed based on 4G technology has become faster for A1 subscribers in Minsk. This upgrade was made due to expansion of 4G network capacity.

The network coverage of the current fourth generation network for A1 subscribers and the frequency range provided by beСloud operator remains the same – 1800 MHz, however due to expansion the capacity internet access speed increased by 40-60%.

It’s important that a mobile device (smartphone, tablet, USB modem, or Wi-Fi router) and SIM card must support 4G standard in order to use mobile internet in 4G network. Those A1 subscribers whose mobile devices and SIM cards support this standard will have a corresponding sign on the screens of their smartphones while being on the territory of 4G coverage.

A1 subscribers can check themselves if their SIM card is ready for 4G using free USSD request *181#. A provider will respond with a text message with the results for the smartphone and SIM card. In case the SIM card doesn’t support 4G, it can be changed for free in any company store or dealer center, only a passport is needed for that. A1 subscribers should also check that their smartphone has a corresponding network setting turned on - 3G/4G or LTE – in order to use 4G network.
