History of world culture in Vitebsk: A1 and “Flying University” launch a course about UNOVIS available online and on voka
In support of the project #UNOVIS100 А1 and educational media platform “Flying Гniversity” prepared an online course UNOVIS: Vitebsk history of world culture. Starting from 22 October five lectures are available for a preview on VOKA. In a week “Flying University” platform will place the course that contains videos featuring Belarusian experts, selection of related literary works, photo archive, a gallery of drawings by suprematist artists, etc. in the public domain.
Educational course UNOVIS: Vitebsk history of the world culture has been specifically designed in the year of the 100th anniversary of the famous creative association for anyone who is willing to grab the opportunity and take a closer look at the creative works of the representatives of suprematism who glorified Belarus and changed the course of the history of art.
Five lectures dedicated to history and prominence of the creative association UNOVIS starting from 22 October are available on VOKA VOD free of charge with no registration required. The complete course that consists of nine subjects and 12 video lectures will be placed on media platform “Flying University” on 28 October.
Every video is dedicated to a specific topic and contains video lectures from Doctor of Fine Arts Tatiana Kotovich, artist Adam Globus, Elena Karpilova and director of the Historic Museum and Vitebsk Folk Art School Andrei Duhovnikov. All modules are supplemented with a selection of literary works, archived historic photographs and online reproduction of the famous paintings of well-known UNOVIS activists.
Educational course is developed within the framework of the project #UNOVIS100 in realization of which A1 takes an active part throughout 2020 in order to present UNOVIS and it’s heritage to a wide audience in Belarus and abroad.
Till end of 2020 a documentary produced by director Evgeny Setko dedicated to the history of the association and creative works of the artists is available on VOKA. A series of lectures and the film are available on voka.tv or in VOKA app at any time, from any device and in any operator’s network.
