A1 data centre has been granted the third certificate of conformity – ISO 27001
A1 data centre confirmed compliance with the information security standard ISO 27001, covering the requirements in the field of data security aimed at creation, development and maintenance of the information security management system (ISMS).
Such processes as a service for client equipment placement in the data centre (collocation), services for leasing cloud server infrastructure, and also data back-up were certified according to ISO 27001. Implementation of ISO 27001 standard will enable A1 data centre to guarantee its clients availability of proper conditions for maintaining confidentiality, integrity, accessibility of the placed data, transparency of the management processes, and also minimization of the financial and reputational risks related to threats to information security.

ISO 27001 is an international standard introduced by world’s leading experts in the field of information security which provides the methods required for the implementation of information security management at the enterprise. The basic concept of ISO 27001 lies in the risk management: the standard presupposes identification of weak points in the information security system, systematic continuous efforts to eliminate such weaknesses, maintenance of the security level, and also enhancement of the relevant mechanisms ensuring existence of the said system. Violations in the security system are prevented by means of establishment and strict observance of the documented organizational rules.
Apart from the information security certificate ISO 27001 confirmed by one of the most respected organizations for standardization, namely, British Standards Institution (BSI), the company’s data centre boasts an international certificate of Uptime Institute (UI) on the level of fault tolerance Tier III in categories Design and Facility, and also a PCI DSS certificate confirming clients’ infrastructure security and protection of payment card details. Moreover, A1 data centre holds a qualification certificate issued by the Operative Analytical Centre of the Presidential Office of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the requirements of Order No.62 dated August 30, 2013.
