Top watched: how the viewers of A1's VOKA Online Cinema spent their winter holidays

This time marks the end of winter holidays when everyone reunited with their families, celebrated New Year and Christmas, met with their friends and dear ones, and, of course, set the mood with holiday movies and shows. A1's VOKA Online Cinema decided to find out what was most popular among Belarusians between 30 December and 7 January and is ready to share the results with you.

TOP 5 movies

The viewers decided to experience a true winter fairy tale and set the magical mood. The most popular movie during those days was "Baba Yaga is Here for Us" («Яга на нашу голову»), followed by the new winter comedy "Yolki 12" («Елки 12»). Further down the list are "Family Man" («Семьянин») and the legendary "Love Actually", and top 5 concludes with the touching story "Charlie's Christmas Wish".

TOP 5 animated films

The first place among animated films is taken by "Grinch" (good thing he didn't steal Christmas this time!), followed by "Astrid Lindgren's Christmas" and, surprisingly, "The Secret Life of Pets 2". Now back to the holiday theme: the fourth spot was taken by "Twelve Days of Christmas", and the fifth one by "Cheburashka. Holiday Secret" («Чебурашка. Секрет праздника»).

TOP 5 movies on CINEVOKA

Viewers of the CINEVOKA section that contains Belarusian-dubbed movies decided to dive into adventures: the top spot is occupied by "Pororo, Dinosaur Island Adventure", followed by "Pororo, Treasure Island Adventure", "Dog", "Trouble" and "Captain Fantastic".

TOP 5 shows

The TV show that won the most hearts was "Lilies of the Valley. Such Gentle Love" («Ландыши. Такая нежная любовь»). Next ones down the list are the comedy "Farm" («Хутор») and the detective show "Curious Varvara" («Любопытная Варвара»). The last two entries in the top 5 are "Sister" («Сеструха») and "Cashout" («Обнальщик»), which proves that during the holiday season, people equally want humor, dramatic depth, and even a little thrill.

TOP 5 karaoke songs

In the recently launched Karaoke section, the holiday mood was set by legendary hits: the most popular choice was "Batareika" by "Zhuki", followed by "Topoliny Pukh" by "Ivanushki International", "Zelenoglazoye Taksi" by Mikhail Boyarskiy, "Kon" by "Lyube" and "O Bozhe Kakoi Muzhchina" by Natalie.
