“Belarusian youth has an abundance of creative and useful ideas, while global TED idea is about spread of these ideas. We offer an opportunity to teenagers to share their ideas and be heard. Owners of truly fascinating projects will take the floor at the conference. They have done a lot of preparatory work, developed public speaking skills and their presentation in the worldwide well-known format may become an inspiring example for other schoolers”, - commented Nikolai Bredelev, head of A1 PR, general partner of TEDxYouth@Minsk.

Social-educational project The First is organized by A1 under support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus as well we organizers of TEDxMinsk.

This is a contest of bright ideas by generation Z, announced in October 2019 for schoolers of 9-, 10-, 11- grades. Throughout the academic year the schoolers developed their projects in four thematic areas, i.e. Ecology, Technology, Inclusivity and Culture, and they participated in creathons in Minsk, Vitebsk, Gomel and Grodno. Exclusively for the contenders there was the first Belarusian podcast for youth launched where experts in related fields shared their recommendations related to launch and presentation of projects.
