Voronezh Trip and New Year's Miracle: 2025 Digest From A1 Taxi

About Company

Among other memorable events, the year 2025 was marked by the launch of A1 Taxi. In just 7 months, the new service has made waves in Minsk and other Belarusian cities, gained the trust of the drivers, and become a reliable method of transportation for numerous users. Instead of dull numbers, let us use vibrant facts to highlight the success of A1 Taxi in 2025.

In seven months of 2025, A1 Taxi made its debut in five Belarusian cities, among which Minsk, Maryina Gorka, Orsha, Mogilev, and Bobruisk. Minsk welcomed the new taxi service with utmost enthusiasm, accounting for the biggest number of rides in the first month since launch.

A1 Taxi is mostly used for rides within city limits. However, it is not uncommon for clients to book longer trips from 150 km to 400 km. The longest route performed by an A1 Taxi driver in 2025 was a staggering 1,044 km! The destination was Voronezh, Russia. Another long trip (Premium rate) was made from Minsk to Pskov. The distance between the two cities is over 500 km!

People use A1 Taxi to reach all kinds of destinations, whether it's an adjoining street or another apartment building in the neighborhood. One of the shortest rides was only 190 meters. However, the all-time record was set in Orsha, where a super short 20-meter ride was made from one entrance of a building to another.

It's not uncommon that drivers and passengers engage in interesting conversations that go beyond the common topics of weather, work or road traffic. For example, one of the A1 Taxi drivers was lucky to have a worthy interlocutor on a passenger seat – a musician that talked about the sound theory, different genres of electronic music, and world-known DJs.

The most unusual request from a passenger was to drive 3.5 circles around Minsk along the ringroad.

The most unusual things forgotten by passengers in A1 Taxi cars included a unicycle, a woman's hat, and an enormous flower basket.

One of the most extraordinary rides was booked on the New Year's Eve, when a client disguised as Santa Claus went to Zybitskaya street — the epicenter of partying in Minsk — and started to take people home in a taxi at his own expense. This amazing experience proves that New Year's miracles are real, after all!
