A1 Launches Nationwide Taxi Service
A1, a renowned Belarusian provider of telecom, ICT, and content services, is launching a new nationwide taxi service on 1 May 2025.
By introducing A1 Taxi, the company is expanding its ecosystem of services and offering a robust alternative to both passengers and transportation companies. A vast experience implementing new projects across a wide range of industries, such as telecommunications, fintech and such, have been of great help in branching out in yet another new direction.

To store and process client data, A1 Taxi will be using A1's own data center, which is one of the largest and safest in the country. This constitutes an undeniable advantage of the new service. It's a Tier III data center (according to the Uptime Institute classification) which has all required certificates of compliance with international and domestic safety standards, including data protection requirements set forth in the Belarusian law. This makes all data securely protected from cross-border transmission.
A well-thought-out pricing system ensures that the cars arrive fast and guarantees predictable fare prices even during peak hours, which makes taxi rides more convenient for passengers and transportation companies alike. A1 Taxi will offer a wide spectrum of services, from regular taxi rides and corporate services, to event transportation and airport transfers. All clients will be getting a 5% cashback on each ride in the form of points. Accumulated points can be spent on taxi rides and other A1 services. On top of that, all A1 Taxi ride options will have a Visa loyalty program. For example, when paying for a ride with a premium Visa card (Platinum, Signature or Infinite), you'll get 50% off on airport transfers and 20% off on city trips across all ride options.
To celebrate its 26th birthday and new taxi service, A1 is launching a promotion for transportation companies and drivers. In May of 2025, a monthly service fee will be as low as 10 kopecks.
A1 Taxi is currently available to Minsk residents only. However, as A1 is expanding its partner network of transportation companies, the service will soon cover the entire country.
