VOKA holds the first virtual basketball tournament in Belarus with the participation of real sports stars

The broadcasting of the unique online tournament takes place on VOKA on May 28. Domestic professional players will take part in the virtual championship for the first time in the history of the Belarusian e-sports and basketball. "E-sports. Star Tournament" will be held at the initiative of the Belarusian Basketball Federation and the Belarusian Federation of Computer Sports. Technical support in holding the tournament will be provided by the Pavaga Gaming e-sports organization.

 

Four Belarusian basketball stars will compete for the champions cup in the NBA 2k20 game for the Sony PlayStation 4 console live on VOKA. They include Maxim Lyutych, Andrey Rogozenko, Natalya Dashkevich and Alexander Semenyuk. While offline competitions and team trainings are paused, professional athletes will demonstrate their skills in online battles in order to find out which of them plays basketball better in virtual settings.

 

"E-sports. Star Tournament will give domestic fans a possibility to see their favorite athletes in action and plunge into the game atmosphere without leaving home for the first time in a long period.

 

Four participants in a specially equipped studio will compete for the title of the best of the best. A high-resolution LED screen will allow turning the site into a virtual court and creating the effect of immersion in the game necessary for both the participants and viewers.

 

Professional commentators will report on tournament events.

 

Live-cam-supported shooting will enable the viewers to not only watch the game itself but also to see lively emotions of the players. The tournament participants will share their immediate impressions in a series of flash interviews after each meeting.

 

The exclusive broadcasting of the tournament takes place on May 28 on VOKA. Start time: 19:00. The broadcasting will be free of charge and will not require authorization for all users, whether from Belarus or abroad.
