Cyber Reality As Our New Present: Minsk Hosts A1 Tech Day Conference for 4th Time

About Company

On 25 November, Minsk hosted the annual A1 Tech Day conference organized by A1, a provider of telecom, ICT, and content services. It's the fourth time that the event is gathering business professionals, experts from industry-related state agencies, and IT developers to discuss the most critical aspects of digital transformation. With cyber reality as its main topic, this year's event was attended by more than 1,200 professionals.

The technologies which, a couple of years ago, were viewed as emerging innovations, nowadays mold and affect our reality including business. During their speeches and networking sessions, attendees discussed how to make that reality more effective, easy to understand, and safe.

The conference was opened by Pavel Tkach, First Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus. In his welcoming speech, he thanked A1 for making A1 Tech Day a much-needed tradition and organizing it at a professional level. According to the minister, along with possibilities, it is important to consider and prevent possible risks related to high-tech innovations, and any applied solutions must complement human professional skills instead of replacing them entirely:

"Nowadays, information technologies are making our lives easier: businesses are growing, pharmaceutical companies are creating new types of medicinal products, and education is becoming more available. However, it is vital to understand that these technologies are just a tool, while humans with their values, rights, and interests will always be more important than any computer algorithms".

That idea was taken further by Yuri Levdansky, Senior Director for Commerce at A1. He pointed out that the new cyber reality and business transformation in response to digital technologies is not just a known fact, but a key to successful performance of many companies.

"Nowadays, the main asset of any business is not how big it is or how much capital it has accumulated. It is how fast it responds to change. Increasingly often, industries are shaped by companies that are the first to adapt to a new reality, release new products, and implement organizational changes. All this is often achieved with AI and other advanced information technologies. With each coming day, technologies are becoming more intelligent and available. Technologies which, some five years ago, were only used by tech giants, are now a part of any company's daily operation. This is why, to harness the capabilities of AI and other modern technologies, businesses need to develop a uniform digital strategy, enhance their competencies, and develop their digital maturity," said Yuri Levdansky.

The event's agenda consisted of three blocks: Information Technologies, Information Security, and Artificial Intelligence. In each block, experts shared the relevant data, presented real-life cases, and discussed important aspects of implementing high-tech solutions, from common mistakes to risk assessment and evasion.

With a record 1,200 participants, A1 tech Day-2025 has overcome its last year's attendance. In addition to a densely packed agenda, the participants had a chance to ask speakers questions, exchange opinions, network, and get valuable practical experience from the industry's leaders.

The event's tech partners include Kaspersky, Yandex 360, True Conf, Yealink, UserGate, S-Crypto, and Falcongaze.
