A1 Tech Day, A1 Taxi Launch in Mogilev, Discount Night, Second Season of Responsible Influencers Club, and More: November Digest
December has arrived, and A1 is reminiscing on major events that took place in November. We are looking back on the most memorable milestones of the past month: A1 Tech Day annual conference, expansion of A1's 4G network, A1 Taxi launch in Mogilev, new A1 offline stores, and other exciting events.
First of all, A1 is happy to share the results of yet another expansion of its fourth-generation network. Following the launch of 750 new coverage sectors, 150 villages, towns, and cities all over Belarus can now enjoy better-quality mobile connection and Internet services. A1 significantly upgraded its 4G coverage and throughput not only in big cities, but also in agro towns, villages, and along traffic routes.
On 25 November, Minsk hosted the fourth annual conference A1 Tech Day. The event brought together business professionals, experts from industry-related state agencies, and IT developers to discuss the most critical aspects of digital transformation. This year's conference was attended by more than 1,200 people.
Another exciting event was the Discount Night that took place from 22:00 on 21 November to 02:00 on 22 November across nine A1 offline stores throughout the country. And now a few words about our new offline location! On 13 November, the Univermag shopping centre (100 Sovetskaya st.) in Oshmyany welcomed a brand-new A1 store. On 28 November, "Mandarin Plaza" shopping centre in Gomel (Rechitsky Avenue, 5в) welcomed an upgraded A1 store. Welcome!
More amazing news from Mogilev, where A1 Taxi was launched on 22 November. Now Mogilev residents can take comfortable rides with the fast-growing taxi service that is expanding throughout the country.
To celebrate the World Children's Day on 20 November, A1 joined efforts with the Belarusian Children's Fund and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to launch the second season of the Responsible Influencers Club "You Online". This time, the Club will focus on promoting the culture of digital parenthood and building trust between parents and kids in a digital environment.
The "My A1" mobile app has gotten an impressive overhaul. Now, along with managing your mobile and Internet services, you can also organise your finances, all thanks to the new A1 Wallet services and A1 Pay financial services!
And last but not least! The VOKA online cinema by A1 announced a new "Karaoke" service. Now VOKA viewers have a chance to spice up their cinema nights with their favourite music. The catalogue currently has over 1,000 songs conveniently sorted by genre.
