A1 data center has confirmed compliance with the requirements of STB ISO/IEC 27001-2016
A1 data center received its fourth certificate of safety for the compliance with the requirements of the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus STB ISO/IEC 27001-2016.
The information security management system of the A1 data center passed a certification audit in the National Compliance Assurance System of the Republic of Belarus for the compliance with the requirements of the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus STB ISO/IEC 27001-2016 "Information Technology. Security Assurance Methods. Information Security Management Systems. Requirements." The certificate of conformity obtained as a result of the audit confirms that requirements of the information security management system standard are met when placing customer server and telecommunication equipment in control rooms of the data center, renting virtual server infrastructure and providing backup services.
A1 data center has previously verified compliance with the International Information Security Standard ISO/IEC 27001. The certification was carried out by one of the most respected organizations for standardization and certification - the British Standards Institution (BSI). The new certificate issued by the Certification Body of the Belarusian State Metrology Institute, RUE additionally confirms compliance with high information security requirements for creating, developing and maintaining an information security management system and its compliance with the requirements of the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus.
The availability of the appropriate certificate allows the A1 data center to guarantee its customers the conditions necessary to ensure confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of the posted information resources, transparency of management processes and technical support, as well as minimization of the risk of financial and reputational losses associated with information security threats. Such guarantees are especially important to customers who place or plan to place their data in a secure virtual data center, as well as those whose occupation is associated with processing of restricted data.
Besides the certificates of compliance with the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus STB ISO/IEC 27001-2016 and the International Standard ISO/IEC 27001-2013, the A1 data center previously received a certificate of compliance with national requirements for information security, a certificate of compliance with the PCI DSS payment card industry data security standard, as well as a certificate of compliance with the UI Tier III infrastructure and equipment security standard.
