A1 launches its first online store in Belarus

As part of the #stayonline initiative, A1 is expanding its online sales and service channels and invites customers to visit their very first virtual store.

Now checking out any device presented in the A1 assortment in action can be accomplished without actually visiting regular stores. Consultants will provide you with all the necessary assistance in selecting and purchasing items you need online by means of video communications.

Virtual store visit is designed to be as close to a physical A1 store visit as possible. The only difference is that the buyer does not even have to leave their house, everything will take place online. Using video communications, the buyer will meet with consultants who will demonstrate the selected device and all its functions, as well as answer questions and help in choosing and making a purchase with delivery to a specified address.

To visit the virtual store, go to the company website www.A1.by or to the online store. The visitor clicks the corresponding widget on the page of the product of interest. Once the contact details for the feedback are clarified, a request is sent to the number indicated by the clients, and video consultation starts in the browser of their device (computer or smartphone). That being said, it is a one-way video communication: clients can see the consultant, the interactive merchandise display and the products on it, but remain anonymous themselves.

The virtual store assortment features all devices available for purchase via the A1 online store, except for individual models that happen to be the last ones in stock.

If the client wants to clarify some issues that are not directly related to devices sold in the virtual store, the call will be transferred to the A1 contact center experts.

You don't have to be one of the A1 subscribers to use the virtual store services: expert video consultations are available to everyone.

The virtual store will initially work from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM without lunch breaks or days off, with two company employees providing video consultations simultaneously.

In the near future, the number of A1 virtual stores and consultants is planned to be expanded, with business hours extended: now staying open 24/7.

Similar A1 virtual store format has already been implemented in countries such as Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. And Belarus has now joined them, with Serbia following in its steps. The experience of currently existing A1 Telekom Austria Group stores demonstrates their high efficiency: millions of different devices have already been sold through virtual stores.
