A1 doubles the list of short charity telephone numbers

A1 has more than doubled the list of short charity telephone numbers. Now, A1 subscribers have the opportunity to donate funds to 29 Belarusian charity foundations and organizations, as well as to help healthcare professionals prevent the spread of COVID-19. You can make a transfer via the A1 banking application, as well as by sending a USSD request or an SMS to a short telephone number. No fee will be charged for making a transfer.

You can make a charitable donation via the A1 banking application in the Dobro section using the funds of any bank card added to your account or by deducting any amount from the balance of the subscriber number. The maximum monthly amount of the charitable donation deducted from your number balance is 100 BYN. It is possible for subscribers of all Belarusian mobile providers to transfer the funds from bank cards in the A1 banking application.

When sending an SMS to a special short number, a charitable donation will be deducted from the balance of the subscriber number, although it is fixed and amounts to 2 BYN. When sending a USSD request, a user can select any of the three amounts, 2, 5 or 10 BYN.

The funds can be transferred from the balance of the subscriber number of subscribers of all A1 tariff plans for individuals (except for the PRIVET line). The subscriber number should be active, with access to outgoing calls, sending SMS and mobile Internet. After the transaction has been completed, a subscriber receives a confirming notification of debit.

A1 provided its subscribers with the opportunity to donate funds to short charity telephone numbers in 2019. In April 2020, A1 opened a special telephone number to help healthcare professionals prevent the spread of COVID-19 in coordination with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. You can also help them using the following three methods: by sending an SMS to a special short telephone number 219, using a USSD request *222*19#, or via the A1 banking application. All funds donated by A1 subscribers will be credited to the account of the Republican Center for Organization of Medical Response State Institution.
