Number One Awards: A1 Becomes Belarus' Best Internet Provider
At the annual Number One Awards, A1 has become No. 1 Internet Provider. This achievement is further proof of A1 being one of the major landline Internet providers in Belarus, which is trusted by hundreds of thousands of Internet users nationwide. The key factor behind its success in customer voting is the company's commitment to providing stable and fast landline Internet connection for individuals and businesses, continuously expanding its geography to cover new cities and towns, and using advanced equipment.

The Number One Awards are distributed among major companies, products, and services based on voting by customers, judges, and members of the organization council. Anyone can cast their vote for their favourite company or brand. This year, over 70,000 people took part in the online voting.
"Nowadays, Internet access is a daily necessity for people of ages, occupations, and interests. This is why A1 has spent the past few years focusing on expanding its landline Internet network and making it convenient and accessible for a broad audience. Winning the No.1 Internet Provider award is yet another proof that we are going the right way," as per Vladimir Sachkov, Technical Director at A1. "When choosing A1, users opt for a reliable Internet provider that offers an all-in-one product. For years now, we've been focusing on complex packages, which offer a bunch of services at the cost of just one service. For example, you pay for landline Internet and get mobile services and subscription to A1's own online cinema absolutely for free. This approach allows customers to benefit from a full range of telecom services from one and the same provider and at a great price.

About A1
A1, a provider of telecom, ICT, and content services, started its commercial operation on 16 April 1999, becoming the country's first GSM mobile service provider. In November 2007, the company was acquired by A1 Group, the European subdivision of the international holding América Móvil, which is among the world's leading telecom providers with its head office in Mexico.
As of today, A1 offers high-speed Internet connection, including using the XG-PoN standard, to more than 600,000 users in big cities and smaller settlements all over the country. The company has the technical capacities to offer high-speed Internet services to more than 1.4 mln households nationwide. The number is constantly growing as A1 is expanding and improving its network. And if setting up a wired Internet connection in a user's area is a challenge, A1 can readily offer a reliable high-speed Internet service using a Wi-Fi router with a pre-installed SIM card.
А1 mobile telecom network currently has the biggest number of GSM and UMTS sites in Belarus. On top of that, it has shown the best results across most parameters, as per BelGIE rating. To see the full telecom provider rating made by the independent regulator BelGIE, head to хваля.бел.
