A1 provided SIM cards for the operation of the Belarusian segment of the EAEU unified transit system

A1 will cover data transfer throughout the Republic of Belarus during the establishment of the National Tracking System for International transit shipments of goods using navigation devices.

As part of the project, several thousand SIM cards were provided to ODO Belneftegaz, the national operator of the Belarusian segment of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) unified transit system. The cards will be used in navigation devices utilized to seal freight vehicles.

Electronic seals established with the help of SIM cards from A1 will be connected to a system, allowing all information on the state of goods and their route to be monitored in real time.

A1's SIM cards in electronic seals provide data transfer to the digital core of the transit traceability system, or the STIGMA platform. Integration of the national system and similar solutions used in other EAEU countries will allow for interaction between the systems of customs authorities, thus speeding up the customs clearance and transit of goods across borders.
