“Caller I.D. Barring” allows you to leave your subscriber number anonymous when calling other A1 subscribers.

When making an outgoing call / video call to an A1 subscriber’s number, the subscriber’s number with the activated Caller I.D. Barring service is not identified on the called subscriber’s phone screen.

When sending SMS or MMS, the number is identified.

While using the service, you can enable temporary number identification:

  • for one call: *31# (called subscriber's number) call (the number must be entered in international or inter-city format +375АВХХХХХХХ, 80АВХХХХХХХ, 810375АВХХХХХХХ, 00375АВХХХХХХХ);
  • for several calls: using the phone menu (according to the instructions of the mobile phone).

The prohibition of number identification when calling to subscribers of other networks, as well as outside the Republic of Belarus, is not guaranteed.

When making a call to a short number, it is recommended to enable number identification through the phone settings or dial *31# short number.

When using the "Waiting for a Call" service, the recipient will get in an SMS the number of the subscriber who asks to call back.

When making a call to the number of a subscriber who uses the "Missed call" service, the called subscriber will not receive an SMS about this call.

The “Caller I.D. Barring” service is provided to the company’s clients, legal entities (except for subscribers of the tariff plans of the WEB and Non-stop lines).

Connecting/disabling the service is possible in one of the following ways:

  • USSD *200*2# call;
  • Personal Account;
  • On the basis of a standard application sent through the А1 Belarus community in Viber or to the e-mail address legal@A1.by;
  • On the basis of a standard application in A1 branded sales and service centers, in the office of official agents upon presentation of an identity document, as well as:

- when the head applies: a document confirming the powers of the head;
- when a proxy applies: a power of attorney for representing the interests of a legal entity.

After connecting/disabling the service, you need to make the appropriate settings in the phone menu.
