A mural sponsored by A1 was installed at the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children

On May 3, the "Dreams of a Forest" mural was unveiled at the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children. The mural commemorates the "To the Beat of A1" sports and musical charity event.

The "Dreams of a Forest" memorial piece was molded within the walls of the Center as a reminder of the "To the Beat of A1" sports and musical charity event, which took place at the Dynamo Stadium is summer of 2023. Thanks to the efforts of the A1 festival participants, financial assistance was transferred to the rehabilitation center for the purchase of high-tech equipment for the rehabilitation of children. Once the event was over, the company initiated the creation of a mural in the center courtyard to support and inspire its patients and visitors.

"We are glad that everyone was able to join a new format of charity last summer, to take part in sports activities accompanied by dynamic music to help get high-tech innovative diagnostic equipment for the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children together. Just as we were inspired by the people who joined the "To the Beat of A1" festival and helped us gather financial support for the center, we would like to inspire its patients, who are the reason behind this whole project, in their recovery journey and in everyday life," the A1 company representatives noted.

Artist Anna Dyukova developed a sketch for "Dreams of a Forest", which incorporates a plethora of details that can be explored and interpreted through the lens of one's own imagination. The main elements of the mural are shaman animals, standing against the backdrop of various trees and flowers. Each character embodies an encrypted symbolic message for the children. For example, the fox teaches them to stand their ground and find unexpected ways to solve problems, and its orange color symbolizes warmth and vitality. The squirrel stands for perseverance and teamwork, and its diligence in collecting nuts teaches the value of work and cooperation. The hare represents speed and agility, and also shows how to overcome obstacles and quickly react to changing situations. The owl stands for wisdom and intellect.

The mural was installed in the courtyard, next to the solar panel put there by A1 during the "Solar Energy for Green Schools" competition back in 2020 to allow children to observe how electricity can be generated from a renewable natural source.

"The mural will not only serve as a decoration for our center: it is also an important symbol of inner strength and support for our young patients. It will serve as a reminder that each of them can do more, achieve more, and that they aren't alone in their efforts,"  Lyudmila Kondrashova, Director of the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children, noted.
